By accessing and using MAICOS.ai ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and any related services provided by MAICOS Technologies Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

MAICOS.ai is an AI-powered task management and communication platform that provides:

  • AI Chief of Staff (CoS) coordination and management
  • Hierarchical organization of Areas, SubAreas, and Taskspaces
  • Real-time collaboration and communication tools
  • AI-powered context management and entity tracking
  • Integration with third-party services and connectors
  • Custom AI-generated applications and workflows

Our service utilizes advanced AI technologies including Google Gemini and OpenAI GPT models to provide intelligent assistance and automation.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use MAICOS.ai, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

Account Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit harmful, threatening, or offensive content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Distribute malware or engage in hacking activities
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies.

Your Rights

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to MAICOS.ai. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI systems may be subject to different licensing terms. You retain rights to content you create, but acknowledge that AI-generated suggestions may incorporate patterns from training data.

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

Data Storage and Processing

  • We store your data securely using industry-standard encryption
  • Your data is processed to provide AI assistance and service functionality
  • We may use aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement

AI Data Usage

Your content may be used to improve our AI models, but only in aggregated and anonymized forms. We do not use personal data for AI training without explicit consent.

7. Billing, Payment and Credits

Subscription Plans

MAICOS.ai offers various personal and enterprise subscription plans. Features, daily credit allowances, and storage limits vary by plan. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).

AI Credits Logic

  • Daily Credits: Each plan includes a daily credit allowance that resets every 24 hours. Daily credits are consumed first.
  • Buffer Allowance: Users may exceed their daily credits by up to 10% as a temporary buffer. Any negative balance incurred is automatically deducted from the next day's daily credit reset.
  • Top-up Credits: Users may purchase additional top-up credits. Top-up credits never expire and are only consumed after daily credits and the buffer are exhausted. Top-up credits are not used to cover negative balances from daily usage.

Enterprise Billing

Enterprise plans are billed per user seat. Administrators may upgrade individual members to higher tiers or top up their credits. Resource limits are enforced per-user and are not pooled across the workspace.

Refunds

Our refund policy is governed by our separate Refund Policy. Generally, subscription fees are non-refundable for partial months, but exceptions may apply as detailed in the policy.

8. Service Availability

Uptime Guarantee

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.

Beta Service

MAICOS.ai is currently in beta. Features may change, and service interruptions may occur. We are not liable for issues arising from beta usage.

Maintenance

We may perform maintenance that temporarily disrupts service. We'll provide advance notice for scheduled maintenance when possible.

9. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time. Paid subscriptions will continue until the end of the billing period.

By Us

  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • We may suspend service for non-payment
  • We reserve the right to discontinue the service with notice
  • Upon termination, your data may be deleted after a grace period

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

AI Limitations

  • AI responses may contain inaccuracies or inappropriate content
  • You are responsible for verifying AI-generated information
  • AI systems may have biases present in their training data
  • We are not liable for decisions made based on AI suggestions

Liability Limitations

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or service notifications. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
